CeLCAR is funding a community course for Kurdish in the Nashville, Tennessee metropolitan area. The course is offered by Nashville State Community College (NSCC), with the support of funds from CeLCAR’s Title VI Language Resource Center grant from the U.S. Department of Education. Anyone there may take the course free of charge. Students in the class say that they love how it gives them the skills to connect with members of the Kurdish community in Nashville.
