Biography
Gulnoza Yusupova, born in Tashkent, but grew up in Khorezm region in Uzbekistan. In 2011, Gulnoza did her undergraduate program at Urgench State University, majoring in English Philology. After eight years of work experience in teaching, she received full Russian government scholarship to do her master’s degree in foreign languages and cross-cultural communication program in 2019 at the National Research University Higher School of Economics in Moscow.
Gulnoza has worked for various educational organizations, including secondary public schools, private language schools, professional colleges, and youth centers as a teacher of English back in Uzbekistan and Russia. She has also done assistantship and internship programs through Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistantship Program (2014) and Community Solutions Program (2018) in the USA.
In 2021, she has worked for Urgench State University for one academic year as an assistant teacher, teaching courses such as English as a Foreign Language and Foreign Language Teaching Methodology.
Gulnoza is very passionate about teaching and learning languages as well as trying new approaches in teaching.
