On February 2, Indiana University will mark Azerbaijan’s National Youth Day, a holiday that recognizes the important role young people play in shaping the future of the nation. First established in 1997, National Youth Day highlights the achievements, creativity, and leadership of Azerbaijani youth in areas such as education, culture, science, and civic life.
Throughout the day, the celebration will offer an opportunity for the IU community to learn more about Azerbaijan’s vibrant culture and the significance of youth engagement in the country’s development. The event will bring together students, scholars, and members of the community to recognize the contributions of young people in Azerbaijan and to strengthen cultural understanding and exchange.
