In the Fall of 2006, CeLCAR will begin a major project to produce a Multimedia Encyclopedia of Central Asian Cultures for students of the languages of the region. The Encyclopedia will be comparative in nature and will include entries of basic cultural artifacts, with a particular focus on contemporary culture. All entries will contain authentic materials drawn from CeLCAR’s archives as well as exercises for the student. Several sample entries are listed here:
