Multiple Choice: This activity will allow students to answer multiple choice questions. Each question and/or answers may be presented in text, audio, video or image format. The total number of answers for each question can be set to 3, 4 or 5 depending on the Instructor's preferences.
Exercise: Listen to the exchange between two people and then complete the task by putting sentences in correct order.

Glossary: This is a useful Glossary activity that you can add at the end of your lesson or as part of your new video or audio materials.
Exercise: Now, watch this short video which shows different individuals greeting each other.
Video Gallery: This video gallery is a useful way to list your videos in one simple exercise.
Exercise: Words in which all letters are connected to each other: These types of words consist of only four-form letters, therefore, they are all connected in every position. Watch the video, and then demonstrate writing some of these words on a separate sheet of paper. Scan it, save it as M1_L3_Ex6_Pr1_YourName.pdf, and upload it to the Module 1_Lesson 3 folder.
Put in Order: This activity will allow students to place sentences or phrases in the correct order after studying audio, image, text or video instructions.
Exercise: Listen to Maywand and Laylā’s conversation again. Then, put the following phrases in the order you hear.
Fill in the Blanks: This activity will allow students to practice their reading skills by placing the words or phrases in the correct order within the paragraph provided. Read through the text and proceed to activity. Drag and drop each word to the correct place within the text.
Exercise: Listen to the following conversation between Karim and Hamid and fill in the blanks with the appropriate missing words.
Speaking Activity: This activity is designed to help you develop a speaking exercise where students can submit their audio recordings to you via email directly from the exercise.
Exercise: For each of the following phrases, listen and then record yourself giving an appropriate response. Save your recording as M1_L1_Ex4_Pr3_Yourname.mp3 and upload it to the Module 1_Lesson 1 (Links to an external site.)

Exercise: In this activity you will continue learning about the Pashto alphabet, its letters, and sounds. For each of the letters of the alphabet, you should listen to the pronunciations and practice saying the new sounds in context. In fact, at this time don't even worry about memorizing the new vocabulary words, just focus on pronunciation of the sounds!
Exercise: The following chart gives the most common pronunciations of the seven vowels used in Pashto. Listen to the words representing each vowel sound, and note that some of the vowels are pronounced a little differently depending on the sounds around them.
Exercise: Listen closely to the audio recording of pairs of different vowel sounds and select the word you hear. If you need to hear the word again, just click on its picture. Go through the list once using the English transcription and focusing on the sound difference. Then do it again, this time clicking on the Pashto Script button to practice reading the words using the Pashto alphabet.

Exercise: Now, will learn to how to convert the 18 basic shapes into actual letters using diacritics (dots and lines). Follow the demonstration of each letter in the following app and pay close attention to the following points:
